by Sam Wong

Professor Justin Stebbing spoke to BBC Coventry and Warwickshire about why some women choose to have surgery to prevent breast cancer.

Actress Angelina Jolie this week announced that she had a double mastectomy after finding out she had a mutation in the BRCA1 gene, giving her a very high lifetime risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
