The RSC Higher Education Teaching Award Winner half-day symposium was hosted at the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London on 9th May 2013. The symposium featured a talk by 2012 winner Dr Michael Seery from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).
The Higher Education Teaching Award recognises outstanding teaching skills and/or development of innovative materials/methods in higher education, resulting in a strong impact on students.
Others symposium speakers included Professor Henry Rzepa, Drs Paul Lickiss & Andrew McKinley from the Department of Chemistry and Dr Maria Toro-Troconis E-Learning Strategy and Development Manager, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College.
