June 2013 - Hossay Abas & Keith Andrews Both Graduate with 1st Class Honours

MSci students Hossay Abas & Keith Andrews both obtain 1st class honours degrees. Both are also awarded Prizes...

Hossay Abas & Keith Andrews, the two MSci final year research project students in our lab both graduate with 1st cass honours - Congratulations!

Hossay also receives the Alfred Bader Prize, which is awarded to a final year MSci student, who is destined to continue study in the Department of Chemistry, Imperial College as a research student, for excellence in organic chemistry. Hossay is to study for a PhD in the Spivey group starting Oct 2013.

Keith also receives a Govenor's Prize, which is awarded to the final year MSci student who has achieved the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) mark over all aspects of the degree and is therefore is given to the top ranked MSci student in the year. Keith is to study for a PhD in the group of Ross Denton in the Chemistry Department at the University of Nottingham.
