ARCS Ethos Award Winner

An interview with the Ethos Award winner at Sport Imperial’s annual ARCS award and celebration evening, which was held on 20 June 2013.

The winner of the prestigious Ethos Award this year is Precious Enoch (the centre’s beloved cleaner) for his ‘consistent commitment to maintaining high standards, even when presented with the most challenging tasks!’ Let’s hear more about his work and his experience of winning the ARCS Ethos Award!

How long have you been working at Ethos and how do you enjoy it?
I have been working here since Ethos opened in 2005! I love my job here, everyone treats each other like a family!

What’s your daily routine at work? Describe your typical day.
It depends on which shift I am working. Usually I start at 1pm and I monitor the whole building and attend to all the areas that require my attention, and smile at everyone!

What’s the most challenging thing in your job? And what’s the most rewarding thing?
The most challenging thing is to see unhappy customers. The most rewarding thing is to make those unhappy customers smile!

How do you feel about winning the ARCS Ethos award?
I am on top of the world! I was very surprised but feel happy to receive the award. It has inspired me to continue to work here and deliver high standards!
