Industry leaders from the worlds of manufacturing, technology and energy met with four Imperial academics at the 2033: Tech Foresight conference.
Together, they shrugged off the present and peered past their next deadline to predict the trends, technologies, and thinking that will influence the next two decades.
Dr Greg Offer presented his foresights on revolutionising energy storage, Dr Michelle Moram looked into the future of new materials science, Dr Travis Bayer discussed life as a programmable machine, and Professor John de Mello envisioned machines with statistical intuition.
