Dr. Bill Proud, assisted by Dr. David Chapman, both of the Institute of Shock Physics, gave three talks at the National Science Museum as part of the ‘Lates’ events. The talk centred on the origins and uses of high-speed photography featuring personalities, crimes and patent—challenging early pioneers as well as current developments in the field. About 300 people attended these talks, one of 28 themes addressed at the event.
