Stafford Long will be running a number of off campus careers events aimed at improving the employability and knowledge of groups traditionally underrepresented in certain sectors. These sessions will take place during the 2013/14 Autumn term.

Disability Banking Event
Getting Investment Banking is a uniquely interactive event designed to provide disabled students with an honest look at the prospect of a career in investment banking. Our daylong event, including sessions on recruitment processes, recruiter skills sessions, panel discussions and networking, aims to help students better understand the industry and allay any concerns they may have in relation to managing their disability in the workplace.

CITYVIEW is an annual event designed to introduce 1st and 2nd year female students who are interested in working in technology to the exciting internship opportunities in investment banks. Through informative presentations, panel discussions and informal networking, the event offers the chance to learn from professionals working at some of the world’s top investment banks.

Inside & Out

LGBT Investment Banking Event
Organised by the LGBT Interbank Forum, the Inside & Out event is specifically designed to help lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender undergraduates learn about internships in the investment banking industry. Through networking, panel discussions and talks from senior representatives, Inside & Out, challenges traditional perceptions of the industry and inspires students into a career in investment banking.
