National League tables rank the Department of Computing here at Imperial as one of the best Computing Departments in the UK.
National rankings of universities by subject in the United Kingdom are published annually by The Complete University Guide, The Guardian and jointly by The Times and The Sunday Times. The Department of Computing has traditionally done very well in these rankings and this year is no exception with The Complete University Guide ranking us 2nd, The Times and The Sunday Times ranking us 2nd and The Guardian ranking us 3rd.
The primary aim of these rankings is to inform potential undergraduate applicants about UK universities based on a range of criteria, including entry standards, student satisfaction, staff/student ratio, academic services and facilities expenditure per student, research quality, proportion of Firsts and 2:1s, completion rates and student destinations. We hope that this consistent high ranking reassures our potential applicants that they are making a sound choice when joining us.
