Keeping it Real at Square Meal

The recreation of the 58 Prince's Gate foyer makes a stand out impression at the Venues & Events show

Imperial was amongst 250 of the UK's top venues and events suppliers at Square Meal's annual Venues & Events Live exhibition on 18 and 19 September.

Square Meal’s annual Venues & Events Live exhibition welcomed over 7,000 event organisers through the doors of the stunning City venue of Old Billingsgate on 18 and 19 September. Imperial were amongst 250 of the UK’s top venues and events suppliers that visitors came to meet, with a re-creation of our stunning 58 Prince’s Gate foyer as our stand.

Using the 58, recently refurbished, gold, marble and brass foyer as a backdrop, complete with chandelier, beautiful fireplace and ‘Hogwarts-style hidden bathroom doors’, made it so easy to dress our stand and impress passers-by. Original furniture from the venue, brass chandelier and a stunning flower centre-piece, designed by our very own Senior Venue Manager, Maria Grigsby, completed the look and inspired many of the visitors our team met.

Imperial has been an exhibitor at Venues and Events for the last five years and each year, the show proves a great way to meet new event buyers and potential new customers. This particular show attracts a great range of the UK’s more unusual venues – a category suited to Imperial and its curious set of spaces.
