Deadline fast approaching.
The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) provide opportunities for undergraduate students to undertake an internship while gaining valuable international experience. IAESTE is open to science, engineering, technology and applied arts undergraduate students in the second year of study and above and placements are available in a range of countries. The majority of placements take place during the summer and are for 6 to 12 weeks, although longer placements are occasionally available.
Eligibility
To qualify for an IAESTE placement you must be over the age of 19 and a registered science, engineering, technology or applied arts undergraduate student in the second year of study or above (including final year students).
You must also be a UK resident. You are considered a UK resident if you are:
- an EEA national or
- a non-EU national with British Citizenship verification
The majority of placements do not require you to speak a foreign language, although it is advisable to learn at least some basic expressions before departure. If there is a language requirement then it will be stated on the Offer Form.
If you would like to apply for an IAESTE placement in 2014 then you must register your interest by completing the online form on the IAESTE website.
The deadline for registering interest is 10 December 2013.
