Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2014-15
Recipients of the Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities will each receive a €7,000 scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of the applicant's academic background, leadership skills and demonstrated passion for Computer Science. Further information and eligibility criteria can be found on the EmployAbility website. The application deadline for the scholarship is 17 February 2014.
Google EmployAbility Site Reliability Engineer Internships & Graduate Roles 2014
EmployAbility is working alongside Google to offer disabled and dyslexic students the opportunity to apply for the role of Site Reliability Engineer Intern.
During the internship, you can expect to assist in designing and developing systems to run Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Maps, Voice, AppEngine, and more. Additionally, interns will manage, automate, and make data- based decisions and judgment calls which influence globally distributed applications. Further details on the internship and application information can be found on the EmployAbility website.
Applications are also open for Software Engineer and Software Reliability Engineer graduate roles at Google, in partnership with EmployAbility. More details can be found on these graduate roles on the EmployAbility webpages. The application deadline for internship and graduate roles is 26 January 2014.
