A well organised open day with a new format was successful and this meant we could acommodate 3,900 visitors to the college on 20 June this year.
Imperial College Open Day 2012 a success!
Imperial College opened its doors once again to welcome prospective students and their parents to this year's Science and Engineering Open Day. The newly formatted Open Day was great success enabling approximately 2,500 prospective students and 1,400 parents to visit the Imperial campus on 28 June 2012. The Open Day was a great way for prospective students to find out more about the wide range of courses and opportunities that we have on offer here at the College and to see the campus whilst the sun was shining!
- The newly formatted open day included:
- Three 1 hour pre-booked departmental sessions
- Two locations for information stands
- A chance to speak to current staff and students, parental talks on popular topics
- Department drop-in sessions Accommodation and campus tours
A special thank you goes to the hard work of Amanda Cerny and her team, who managed the preparation and set up of the day. A big thank you also to the Communications and Development team, along with the student volunteers and all college staff who gave up their time to help out which ensured the day was a real success.
