Engineering and Big Science: Opportunities for the UK.

On behalf of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) we are delighted to invite you to a one-day event focussed on the career and training opportunities available for young engineers in ‘Big Science’. The event will be hosted by Steve Myers, currently Director of Accelerators and Technology at CERN.
Engineering technologies underpin the scientific discoveries at Large Scale Facilities across the globe. The Royal Academy of Engineering and STFC are keen to promote the breadth of engineering opportunities that exist for experienced engineers and technicians in every discipline as well as placements for undergraduate students, fellowships for early career engineers, and collaborations and supplier contracts for industry.
