Bursaries available for penultimate year students, final year students and graduates for internships with small and medium size enterprises (SMEs).
The Santander Intern Programme offers bursaries of £1500 to part-fund 12 week internships in SMEs. The other £1500 must be contributed by the organisation to make the salary £3000 for the 12 weeks. Students choose the organisation to approach and negotiate a project to suit their own career goals.
As well as getting that all-important experience on your CV, working for a SME brings many benefits:
- Working in a close knit, collaborative environment
- Increased access to senior management
- More exposure to different areas of the business, working across different projects
- Seeing the outcomes of your work more readily
- Working for a dynamic, fast moving organisation
Full details of the scheme, including an application form, can be found on our website.
If you have any questions about the scheme that you cannot find the answer to online please email internship.unit@imperial.ac.uk. Help is also available during Placement & Internship 20 Minute Consultations at the Careers Service on Monday and Friday afternoons (bookable on JobsLive from 7am on the day).
The deadline for applications is 12.00 on Friday 9 May 2014.
Good luck!
