The Study China Programme offers a unique learning opportunity for students to experience Chinese life, culture, language, arts and business.
Study China provides a three-week study experience in Chinese language, culture and business. Interaction with Chinese students, academic staff, local families and businesses is structured into a programme of accredited language courses, academic modules, workshops, trips and excursions.
The Study China Programme is managed by The University of Manchester and funded by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS). All tuition and accommodation fees are funded by the UK government, students finance their own travel costs, additionally there are a small number of bursaries which can be applied for
Programme Details
There are three partner universities for the programme in summer 2014:
- Nanjing University
- Shandong University
- East China Normal University
Programme dates:
- Start date: Sunday 10 August 2014
- Finish date: Saturday 30 August 2014
There are a total of 240 places available for the summer 2014 programme, with the application process closing on Monday 2 June 2014, but will close earlier if all places are filled. Therefore, all students are advised to apply as early as possible.
