PhUSE Conference 2014 aims to introduce current life-sciences students to statistics and programming careers available in the pharmaceutical industry.
PhUSE (Pharmaceutical Users) holds an annual conference in October of each year. This year the conference is to be held in London on 12-15 October, including a University Day on Tuesday 14 October which is free of charge to students. The theme of the 2014 conference is data transparency.
The purpose of the day is to introduce students, who are currently studying life-sciences degrees, to the statistics and programming careers available within the pharmaceutical industry. Students who are thinking of taking a placement, or are already on placement, may find the event particularly interesting.
PhUSE is an independent, not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. Since its inception, PhUSE has expanded from its roots as a conference for European Statistical Programmers, to a global platform for the discussion of topics encompassing the work of Data Managers, Biostatisticians, Statistical Programmers and eClinical IT professionals.
