Marianna Micallef was one of the 9 researchers chosen to present (15 minute oral presentation) at the 16th Young Researchers’ Conference organised by The Institute of Structural Engineers on 5th March 2014.
The Conference, which took place at the King's Fund, London, was a chance for students to meet with academics and professionals from industry and for the students to showcase their work. The event gives students an opportunity to exchange their ideas with their peers, industry leaders and selected members of the Institution.
Marianna presented on her work 'Crack control in base-restrained reinforced concrete walls'.
