Passport: Industrial gives greater access to industry information
The Library now provides access to Passport: Industrial database (via Passport).
Passport: Industrial is a breakthrough economic research solution that analyses the industrial makeup of 18 largest economies, covering 78% of the world GDP. Splitting each economy into 177 industries it provides extensive cross-country and cross-industry comparable statistics and a strategic assessment of each.
Passport: Industrial expands the Library’s provision of industry information and enables students and staff to locate global, comparable industry information more swiftly.
Key features include:
- access to over 3,000 industry reports and 400,000 time series variables making it a valuable resource for research in strategy, marketing, economics, statistics and econometrics
- standard data coverage of production, imports and exports, markets sizes, industry costs and profitability, firmographics and attractiveness index including 15 years of historic data and 5 years of forecasts
- in-depth and timely analysis to help you understand the scale and direction of industry trends
- industry reports analysing key trends and developments in 18 largest economies for all industries
- dashboard visualisation of the data you retrieve
