Alvaro won a prize to the best talk at a recent UG symposium

In the picture Alvaro proudly shows the official prize certificate for his talk at the UG Symposium organised by the SCI Young Members'Panel at UCL in June.

As an extra token of appreciation he also one 1 Kg of silica that he generously donated to the group (Alvaro, it was not a good idea to take a flight with 1 Kg of white powder in your luggage anyway!)

This was a well deserved prize after one year of excellent work in the lab. Well done!
