Careers Service welcomes you to autumn 2017!

Welcome to the new autumn term! Whether you are a new or returning student, there are lots of events and activities that we provid especially for you!

Pop into the Careers Service (Level 5 Sherfield Building) to collect your copy of our publication 'Career Choice' - an esential guide to all careers events this academic year, and also 'Your Guide to Career Planning' - desaigned to guide you through every aspect of career planning from first year through to graduation.

Careers Fairs

Careers Fairs run by the Careers Service provide an opportunity for you to meet and talk to a number of companies, looking to recruit graduates. Three of our Careers Fairs are held at the College during the Autumn Term:

Careers Forums

Careers Forums consist of a presentation and networking session, allowing you to find out more about careers in specialist areas from the panel of speakers at the event. There will be a number of Careers Forums taking place on the South Kensington Campus throughout the Autumn Term, including:

Career Options in Manufacturing Industry Forum - Thursday 16 November 2017

Lunchtime Careers Talks

These are 50 minute talks from employers and organisations about specific occupations or key career skills. The talks are an ideal opportunity to get up to date information, ask questions and often talk to recent joiners about their experiences.  A full schedule of the talks is available via JobsLive.

Skills Workshops

The Employer Led Skills Workshops (ELSW) and Business Games Programme aims to develop students’ commercial awareness and business acumen, raise their practical understanding of the professional skills traditionally sought by graduate employers and prepare them for the recruitment process. This term’s schedule covers a range of topics including CV skills, case studies, and assessment centres. Details of the employers attending can be found in JobsLive

There are a number of other events run by the Careers Service across Autumn Term and the whole academic year, such as Employer Presentations, Recruiter in Residence sessions, and mock interviews with graduate recruiters. You can of course also book to have an appointment with one of our Careers Consultants, or attend a Careers Service Seminar or Workshop with us.
