Tech-stra-ordinary: Fantastic career opportunities in the technology sector for female students.
IT's not just for the boys! - an upcoming event designed exclusively for female students who are looking to find out more about technology careers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with recruiters, discuss internships and graduate schemes for 2015 and beyond, and take part in skills sessions and team challenges designed to showcase teamwork, problem solving and communication. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to recent graduates and senior managers on their roles within the companies, and how to follow in their footsteps!
Technology is not all about computers, and whilst a knowledge of programming is beneficial for some technology roles, recruiters are looking to meet students with a passion and drive for IT, so if you're an innovative team player, who's ambitious, eager to learn and looking for a varied and exciting career there could be a role for you!

A number of high-profile technology and IT employers will be attending the event. The event will start around midday and finish by 19.30, and include lunch and networking, a panel discussion, a 'team challenge' and skills session.
