Managing your research outputs and being uniquely identifiable as an author is now easier thanks to the community-led organisation ORCID.
An ORCID iD helps researchers to keep track of and report on their own work across different systems, including funders and publishers.
Your ORCID iD can also be added to your Symplectic profile and any new publications tagged with your iD will be automatically claimed for you. The College has identified this benefit and will create an ORCID for all academic staff.
- If you already have an ORCID iD, please add it to your Symplectic profile by 25 November 2014 to avoid receiving a second one.
- If you do not have an ORCID iD, College will create one on your behalf by 2 December 2014.
