PostgraduateStudentships PhD Funding Fair, 4 December

by Barnaby Mollett

The Fair will bring together over 20 of the UK's top quality Universities, all with specific PhD funding to offer, and looking for the best students.

The Fair, run by PostgraduateStudentships on Thursday 4 December, is for you if:

  • You are considering doing a PhD, looking for funding, and want to talk to some of the best UK Universities that are definitely looking for high quality PhD students
  • You'd like to find out more about studying for a PhD, get some advice from Universities with great reputations, and talk to some real PhD students to understand what it's really like

What does the Fair involve?

The Morning Session will cover PhD funding in the Arts and Humanities, Law, Management and Social Sciences. The Afternoon Session will cover PhD funding across the range of Science and Engineering subjects.

Participating Universities in each session will have specialist staff available to talk to you about funding that is already available, and funding to be announced, and how to apply for a PhD.

Talks Programme

In each session, students who have been invited to attend the Fair will be able to attend talks by participating Universities, about studying a PhD in some of the subject areas covered by the session. A provisional Talks Programme is available on the London Talks page.

PhD Student Peer to Peer Advice Room

Students will be able to chat in person to current PhD students who will be on hand to talk to you about their experience of doing a PhD. Find out more here.
