CIPM experts discuss a future without antibiotics in a temporary exhibition at the Science Museum in London.
CIPM efforts to increase public awareness about the threat of antibiotic resistance have been recognised recently by the Science Museum. Content developers from the Museum approached CIPM experts to discuss ideas on “Your Future without Antibiotics”, a forthcoming temporary display case focused on antibiotic resistance which will feature in their ‘Who am I’ gallery.
A range of CIPM’s public engagement activities were discussed, including the Youtube channel and social media presence; participation at the Imperial Festival and community outreach; CIPM’s close involvement with patients/user representatives, which was also greatly exemplified in the recent Public Engagement day; and the different technology solutions and tools which the team has pioneered to increase public awareness about antibiotic use and resistance.
The case is on display to the public until November this year. For more details click here.
