Dr Eleanor Murray has been awarded an Improvement Science Fellowship for research into patient safety improvement.
Dr Eleanor Murray, from the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College, London, has been awarded an Improvement Science Fellowship for research into patient safety.
The research, titled Comparing Improvement: assessing large-scale system change as a mechanism to achieve patient safety, will analyse different approaches to patient safety improvement, with the goal of identifying alternative approaches, the barriers and opportunities for cross-sector working and the effectiveness of alternative approaches.
Dr Murray will focus her research on the provision of high-quality care for elderly people.
