The Library now subscribes to the SpringerMaterials database.
SpringerMaterials provides a single access point to six collections with more than 250,000 substances and 1,200,000 bibliographic references including the Landolt-Börnstein collection.
All the sources have been peer-reviewed by experts in the fields of Materials Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and other Engineering disciplines.
Starting from Library Search you can access from a single search box:
- The Landolt-Börnstein Database
- The complete Linus Pauling Files (for inorganic solid phases)
- A subset of the Dortmund Database of Software and Separation Technology (for Thermophysical Properties of pure liquids and binary mixtures)
- An Adsorption database (for equilibrium isotherms)
- A Polymer Thermodyamics database (interacting with a wealth of data for 150 polymers)
- A collection of 44,000 Chemical Safety Documents
The database also offers an interactive way of searching for element systems, substances and materials by selecting elements from the Periodic Table and revealing all the documented possible combinations.
