The Careers Service's Guide to Career Planning 2014-15 is available both online and to take away now!

The Guide to Career Planning 2014-15 is home to a whole host of information and advice to help you plan and develop your career. From example CVs and covering letters, to interview techniques and information on specific employers, the Guide is a great place to start thinking about your career after Imperial – and how you can prepare whilst you’re still studying.

Where can I get it?

The Guide is now online, and also in hard copy in the Careers Service (Level 5, Sherfield Building), and is free to take away for Imperial students.

What is in it?

The Guide to Career Planning is split into different sections:

  • Imperial and your career: how and when to get started with your career, and an introduction to the Careers Service.
  • Planning and developing your career: looking at career planning, gaining experience, and JobsLive.
  • An international career: working both inside and outside the UK.
  • Applications and interviews: help with key skills, CVs, cover letters, applications, interviews and more!
  • Jobs and course providers: information from employers and course providers, including details of graduate roles and application procedures.
