Accenture Inspiring Women Event: 10 March 2015

by Barnaby Mollett

Accenture is hosting an Inspiring Women event for graduates and undergraduates, Anne-Marie Imafidon at The Science Museum in London.

Child prodigy Anne-Marie Imafidon was named by the Guardian as one of the ‘Top 10 women in tech you need to know’, and was one of the youngest to be awarded a Masters’ degree in Mathematics and Computer Science by the University of Oxford, aged 20. Anne-Marie also set-up the Stemettes project – a bid to inspire the next generation of females into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics roles via a series of panel events, hackathons and exhibitions.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to talk to a range of Accenture professionals about their own career paths to success, and what it takes to build a successful career in business and technology at a company like Accenture.

In addition to hearing from Anne-Marie, there’ll also be plenty of opportunity to network with Accenture recruiters. Accenture currently have a number of roles available for their Consulting and Software Engineering programmes, so if you’d like to know more about careers at Accenture, this is a chance to ask any questions you might have. There are also opportunities to be fast tracked through the application process.
