The Library recently upgraded to a new release of the software that runs Spiral, Imperial's open access research repository.
When you visit Spiral you’ll see a new and improved interface, featuring:
- Altmetric article-level metrics for individual items and at a glance in the ‘top downloads’ table
- A new, mobile-friendly interface designed to work equally well on phones, tablets, and desktops
- New features to support the needs of Imperial researchers, including automated item deposit using the SWORD 2.0 protocol
Imperial researchers don’t need to do anything to benefit from the new interface – deposit to Spiral is still via Symplectic and data migration is completely automated.
We hope you will find the new interface useful. To contact us with feedback or questions, please ASK the Library.
Spiral is powered by DSpace 4.2, Open Source institutional repository software used in over 1,000 organisations worldwide. Imperial College London is proud to support development of the software as a DSpace Bronze Member.
