European Teaching Award for Best Practice for Imperial Horizons Global Challenges Courses
Imperial Horizons are pleased to announce that Dr Elizabeth Hauke has been given the European Teaching Award for Best Practice in the Integration of Sustainable Human Development into Technical and Engineering Education for all of the courses in the Global Challenges field of study.
Information on the award can be found on the GDEE (Global Dimension in Engineering Education) website. The Global Challenges courses are recognised as Award Winner 2.
What the students say: "Understanding how to create sustainable solutions for human development was the very reason I chose engineering as a career path, a field where the lines between disciplines are constantly blurred, where core skills are essential, and where theoretical discoveries immediately lead to tangible creations. The course is a great example of this process." - MEng Aeronautical Engineering student talking about Engineers without Borders
