On the 4th June 2015 cohort 4 of the Controlled Quantum Dynamics CDT presented works to the directors and their supervisors.
As every year, the ten students surprised the audience with their achievements. Cohort 4 is in fact a very successful one, with just less than 15 papers published and endless numbers of posters and oral presentations. The race is still on for the first experimentalist to publish a paper, but they presented very interesting results.
After the presentation and a discussion of their projects with the directors and the cohort mentor, the students had dinner together to catch up on things other than quantum physics.
By this time next year cohort 4 will have to start writing their PhD thesis. In this little time, there will certainly be more successful stories coming out from those ten students.
