Awarded The President's Award for Excellence in Research 2015
Congratulations to Tejinder Virdee and the CMS Group who have been awarded The President’s Award for Excellence in Research 2015.
This award celebrates the achievements of research teams at Imperial, recognising outstanding research that delivers impact, a team’s international standing and their beneficial contribution to Imperial.
The CMS team have played a critical role in one of the biggest scientific achievements in recent years – the discovery of the Higgs Boson – through 25 years of dedication and major scientific and technology development. They play a strong role in international programmes and the College gains profile by its association.
