Raising public awareness of antimicrobial resistance at the Imperial Festival
The recent Imperial Festival saw many researchers from Imperial's NIHR HPRUs host interactive stands and activities in the 'Superbugs' Zone.
The Imperial Festival was the perfect platform to showcase the work researchers from Imperial’s National Institute for Health Research Health Protection Research Units (NIHR HPRUs) are involved in and engage with the public about it.
The activities were a great opportunity to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) to a public audience, dispelling any myths and ensuring that people were aware of their part to play, as individuals, as parents, as carers, as patients in tackling this problem.
