Try JoVE Science Education - a new video database offered by Library Services

Learn laboratory fundamentals and techniques with new Science Education video demonstrations.

JoVE Science Education is a new video database offered by Library Services. It is an ideal resource for undergraduates learning basic laboratory techniques and essentials in the fields of Medicine and Life Sciences. Features include easy to understand videos and dynamic animations created by leading academics, including staff at Imperial.

JoVE is also used by a number of Imperial academics in their teaching:

“We use JoVE Science Education as a method of reinforcing teaching already delivered during the lectures. I personally like to begin wet laboratory lab practicals with an introductory video and for the first year students in Biology and Biochemistry it is always good to have a source of information that is delivered at the level they encounter in their lectures. JoVE Science Education provides that in a professionally delivered format. Easy to use and of short durations, we find the videos are an excellent addition to our teaching capabilities.” Tim Simpson, Life Sciences.
