Here's your chance to collaborate with prestigious Japanese research institutes, with access to sought-after funding and unique resources.
Japan is a leading country for scientific research, at the forefront of technological advancement and progressive ideas. If you're a PhD student looking to fund postdoctoral research with global impact, JSPS want to hear from you.
Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is the leading funding agency in Japan to support fundamental research across all fields. The Pathway to University Positions in Japan Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers provides the opportunity for researchers based outside of Japan to conduct collaborative research activities with leading research groups at Japanese Universities and Research Institutions.
JSPS will fund the initial 12 to 24 months of the visit and the fellowship thereafter is designed to lead to full-time employment at the host institution. Eligible applicants need to be within 10 years of finishing their PhD. Eligible research fields are not limited.
Fellowships must start between 1 April to 30 November 2016.
Application Deadline: Friday 4 September 2015
