ENEN PhD prize goes to Imperial's Dr Christopher Cooling
Dr Cooling a Research Associate from the Nuclear Engineering Group was one three winners of the 9th ENEN PhD prize
The prize is given to the best three presentations and accompanying papers (out of the 12 finalists) on the topic of the competitor's PhD thesis.
The event is a Europe-wide competition run by the European Nuclear Education Network for all PhD students studying in the nuclear sector. This year the competition was held in Nice and was attached to the ICAPP conference. The prize itself is 1000 euros towards attending an international conference and this is the first time a student based in the UK has won this prize.
