On the 29 October 2015, Cisco will host its 2nd annual University Challenge. Held at Cisco's headquarters in Bedfont Lakes, 100 of the best students from across the United Kingdom and Ireland come to represent their universities in a 24 hour innovation challenge...
With support from thought leaders within Cisco and partners, each university team will be issued with a choice of challenges derived from real world business outcomes that are focused on the next generation of the Internet – the Internet of Everything (IoE).
The challenges are created to target the end goal of a working prototype that meets the requirements of the brief. Teams will also be required to demonstrate a feasible go to market strategy and project roadmap to explain the business value of the solution they have chosen to work on. The University Challenge will also feature keynote speeches from Cisco’s VP of Growth Initiatives and Chief of Staff Ruba Borno, and Director of Cybersecurity in the UK, Terry Greer-King. In addition, you will have the chance to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the UK technology sector.
With air hockey, retro gaming stations, campus tours, prizes, giveaways, free breakfast, lunch, dinner and your travel costs reimbursed, this is 24 hours you won't forget!
Many creative innovations are put forward, but there can only be one winner to be crowned 2015 Cisco University Challenge champions!
Apply now to participate.
Please note: This event will be fully booked very quickly – early applications are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
