The 2009 cohort wowed schoolchildren at The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair
Demonstrations included spheres that vanish in water, water repellent materials, and a bowl filled with water which formed spouts when the handles of the bowl were rubbed. The children enjoyed the demonstrations and it was a great opportunity to explain some of the concepts behind the topics studied in the TSM CDT.
