TSM CDT Prizes
Julian Walsh Prize and prizes for major contributions to the life of the TSM CDT
The Julian Walsh prize and prizes for major contributions to the life of the TSM-CDT have this year been awarded to the CDT students on the organising committee of Hermes 2014, a student-led international summer school that brought together materials modelling and science communication.
Prizes for major contributions to the life of the TSM-CDT (£100 each) are thus awarded to Daniel Rathbone, Tom Edwards, Ben Kaube, Joel Posthuma de Boer, Ali Hammad and Andrea Greco.
The Julian Walsh Prize for outstanding contribution (£200) is awarded to the chair of Hermes 2014, Marc Coury, for his vision and leadership in making the event a great success.
The involvement in Hermes of students from outside Imperial - Flaviu Cipcigan (Edinburgh) and Anibal Gonzalez Oyarce (Cambridge) - is also recognised.
