Opening the horizons of our students to all of the career opportunities that are available to them upon graduation is a core part of the training they receive in the TSM-CDT. The residential careers course set up four years ago by Prof Adrian Sutton FRS, TSM-CDT founder and Chairman, has gone from strength to strength, and was held this year at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park, attended by students not just from the TSM-CDT but from a range of other CDTs at other universities including Bristol, Sheffield and Manchester. One of the tutors, Mark Peplow, is a former editor of Chemistry World magazine and has written an article about his experience and thoughts regarding this year's course.
