Find a life-changing career at the Charities & Not For Profit Forum
Starting to think the corporate life may not be for you? Never fear, the Charities and Not For Profit Forum is here.
If it’s ‘no thanks’ to banks or ‘not for me’ to consultancy, this is the event for you. The charities sector is huge, employing thousands of people in all countries of the world, combating everything from climate change to cancer – if you’re looking to really make a difference in your career whilst honing crucial skills in communication, negotiation, research and analysis, don’t miss out on this unique insight into the world outside profit-making.
The Charities & Not for Profit Forum is delivered by speakers from six different organisations and charities. Speakers will talk about their experience in the charity and not for profit sector, their career journey so far, and an overview of their organisation and the areas it works in.
Attendees include:
- Research charities (British Heart Foundation and the Institute for Cancer Research)
- Graduate schemes run across the charity sector (Charityworks, Worthwhile)
- An organisation focusing on the local community (Kensington & Chelsea Foundation)
- A charity supporting schools in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya (Porridge and Rice)
After the talks, there will be the chance for questions followed by an opportunity to chat and network with the speakers afterwards. It’s your chance to find out more about their experiences and how you might go about getting involved in volunteering, or working with a charitable organisation longer term.
Whether it’s research into debilitating disease, helping to build infrastructure in developing countries or improving life for the most vulnerable, a career in charities and not-for-profit organisations can be life-changing. Book your place now on JobsLive.
