Dr Ana Mijic from the Environmental and Water Resource Engineering (EWRE) Section will be leading a new project on water management this summer.
Funding of £1.25 million has been awarded for the 3 year project, which is entitled 'Coupled Human and Natural Systems Environment (CHANSE) for Water Management under Uncertainty in the Indo-Gangetic Plain'. This is part of the NERC 'Sustaining Water Resources for Food, Energy and Ecosystem Services' Programme.
Dr Mijic will be leading the research together with Dr Wouter Buytaert from EWRE and Dr Kaveh Madani from the Centre for Environmental Policy.
