Employers: are you looking to attract the brightest and most innovative minds for the future?
Your graduate recruitment can be made a little simpler by exhibiting at an Imperial College Careers Fair. Our students are engaged and ambitious, and ready to use their world-renowned expertise to make their mark. A truly international institution, Imperial students bring global perspectives and new approaches, and are keen to continue learning and developing in whatever they choose to do after graduation.
BENEFITS OF OUR CAREERS FAIRS
First and foremost, Careers Fairs give you a chance to speak directly to students. You can answer questions, understand what’s important to them when looking for a graduate role, and perhaps meet future colleagues. Fairs are our largest events for students, and it’s also an opportunity for you to raise the profile of your organisation, getting your name out around campus and engaging with students face-to-face, helping to build relationships with the College for years to come too.
A student I met with recently said that talking in person with an organisation’s representatives not only helped her gain a genuine understanding of the role and insight into the company culture, but provided the stimulus for her to apply for the internship she’s now undertaking this summer.

Internship and Placement Advisor
Three of our fairs take place in October and November, to coincide with the traditional time for graduate schemes applications. This means that students in attendance are engaged and actively looking for positions and internships in the upcoming year. We run sector-specific Fairs, to ensure that both students and employers get the most out of each tailored event. With our Engineering Fair last year attracting 2,500 students, our Fairs are an unmissable opportunity.
As a Careers Service, we’re also on hand with seminars, resources and workshops designed to prepare students for Fairs – how best to speak to employers, how to research opportunities and how to make the most of the event. From first year to final year, we’re here to give students the skills to thrive in the world of work.

I have attended a number of careers fairs, skills sessions and panels at Imperial College. I always find the events to be well organised and attended by exceptional students.

We understand that larger Careers Fairs aren’t the right option for every company. We have a number of other engagement options, from advertising on our jobs board JobsLive, to holding recruitment presentations and workshops. If you’d like to discuss other ways of engaging with Imperial students, please see our employer pages.
