Student Academic Choice Awards

Five members of DoC teaching staff have been nominated for Student Academic Choice Awards through the Imperial College Union.

Dr Ruth Misener, Robert Chatley, Dr Fidelis Perkonigg, Dr Anandha Gopalan and Himadri Das have all been nominated for the Student Academic Choice Awards (SACAs). Since 2013, the Awards have helped to recognise and reward excellence in staff members across the college, based on nominations from students. These nominations are reviewed by panels of student representatives from each department and 6 nominees are chosen across the college for each category.

The DoC nominations and categories were:

Dr Ruth Misener for Best Innovation

Dr Robert Chatley for Best Feedback

Dr Fidelis Perkonigg for Best Teaching for Postgraduates

Dr Anandha Gopalan for Best Teaching for Postgraduates

Himadri Das for Best Graduate Teaching Assistant

The winners will be announced at the 2016 SACAs Ceremony in the Union Building on 16th May 2016. For further information on the awards and nominees, please see: https://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/news/sacas-2016-shortlist-revealed
