DoC Academics Cristian Cadar and Peter Pietzuch are the general chairs of the European Conference on Computer Systems, EuroSys 2016, hosted by Imperial College London between 18 and 21 April.

EuroSys is one of the premier systems research conferences, which brings together professionals from both academia and industry.  EuroSys has a strong focus on systems research and development: operating systems, database systems, real-time systems and middleware for networked, distributed, parallel, or embedded computing systems. EuroSys has become a premier forum for discussing various issues of systems software research and development, including implications related to hardware and applications.  The conference attracts international participation, but always takes place in Europe.

EuroSys 2016 also hosts a series of workshops and tutorials, on topics such as system security, multicore and distributed systems, as well as a doctoral workshop, and a poster session.  More information can be found on the conference webpage at http://eurosys16.doc.ic.ac.uk/.
