Dr Stefanos Zafeiriou Granted Distinguished Research Fellowship
DoC Senior Lecturer granted a distinguished visiting research fellow position from FiDiPro.
Dr Stefanos Zafeiriou, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing, has been selected by the Finland Distinguished Professor programme (FidiPro) to be a distinguished visiting Research Fellow at The University of Oulu.
He will co-supervise researchers based in Oulu studying Facial Behaviour Ananlysis "in-the-wild". The project aims to develop algorithms for machine analysis of facial behaviour that can be used on recordings from low quality equipment, such as cameras on mobile devices or webcams.
