Energy and environment spark conversations at Imperial Festival
The Energy and Environment zone took Imperial Festival by storm at the weekend, showcasing research from sustainable transport to solar power.
This year saw the biggest ever Energy and Environment zone at Imperial Festival, with researchers from across Imperial inviting crowds to race laser tractor beams, explore sustainable diets and build their own ecosystems.
With a packed programme of tours, talks, workshops and even interpretative dance, visitors experienced the full breadth of energy and environment related research at Imperial but also seized the opportunity to express their own opinions on the future of transport or the best way to tackle plastic pollution in the ocean.
