Behaviour Change in Infection Prevention & Control and Antibiotic Stewardship - 15-17 August, Oslo

Dr Enrique Castro Sanchez, Lead Research Nurse and ARC Early Career Fellow at the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in HCAI and AMR has been invited to present at Oslo University Hospital’s course on Behaviour Change in Infection Prevention & Control and Antibiotic Stewardship.

This three day course running from the 15-17th August in Oslo will study human behaviour theories as well as behavioural drivers and modifiers identified in sociology, psychology and anthropology literature and assess their relevance to infection prevention and control and antibiotic stewardship.

Dr Castro Sanchez’ presentation entitled  Social Marketing as a tool to achieve sustained behaviour change in infection prevention & control will review the existing evidence related to social marketing interventions in Infection prevention and control and antimirobial stewardship, together with the opportunity to design, implement and evaluate a social marketing campaign during the workshop.
