Interview with Dr Enrique Castro Sanchez on electronic health games and gamification for a special edition of a Spanish radio show on Cadena SER
Dr Enrique Castro-Sánchez, Early Career Research Fellow and Lead Research Nurse at the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in HCAI and AMR has been invited to talk about electronic health games and gamification during a radio interview for a special edition of the Spanish show ‘Antes de que sea Tarde' on Cadena SER on 8th August.
The weekly broadcast examines the impact of emerging social and technology trends around the world. Previous shows have reviewed ethical and sustainable fashion, intelligent cities, application of virtual reality in mental health therapies, and synthetic meat, to name a few.
The interview links well with Enrique’s interest in exploring the use of traditional and social media to increase citizen understanding of the projects and outputs developed at the HPRU to address healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
On a separate note, Dr Castro-Sánchez has had his abstract entitled Application of novel outcome evaluation criteria to UK social marketing campaigns focused on infections accepted as a Poster Presentation at the Federation of Infection Societies (FIS)/Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) 2016 conference later this year in November in Edinburgh.
