Physics PG Research Symposium

Plastic Electronics CDT students Iain Hamilton, Jameel Marafie and Madeleine Morris received honourable mentions for their posters.

Congratulations to Plastic Electronics CDT students Iain Hamilton, Jameel Marafie and Madeleine Morris, who received honourable mentions for their posters presented at the 2016 Physics Postgraduate Research Symposium in June.

Jameel said, “Attending the symposium was very useful for my research project, as it is was insightful to see what other people at Imperial are researching and how they are tackling their unique challenges. I also enjoyed making and presenting my poster, and found that it helped me condense the main parts of my project. This has allowed me to reflect on my important results obtained so far and assists in the planning of future experiments for my PhD. I was also very pleased that my poster was mentioned in the award ceremony, especially considering the very high standard of posters that were presented on the day.”
